The Ugly Art Studio began with a simple belief: that everyone deserves space to create without pressure to perform. Founded in Lake Nona, we started as a mobile studio—popping up in workplaces, community centers, and unexpected corners—offering art experiences that prioritize process over perfection. Blending creativity with curiosity, our workshops are designed to support mental well-being, spark self-expression, and remind people that making art can be a deeply human act. We're building toward a permanent home, but the heart of the studio has always been wherever people gather to make, feel, and explore—ugly and all.

At The Ugly Art Studio, we’re building something bigger than just a class—you’re part of a growing creative movement.
Right now, we’re in Phase 1: bringing art to the community through pop-up workshops, workplace sessions, and mobile events across Lake Nona and beyond. This flexible format allows us to meet people where they are, introduce accessible creative experiences, and plant the seeds of what’s to come.
But the vision doesn’t stop there.
